On route to The Serengeti, we’ll visit a traditional Massai village. The Massai people are one of the oldest cultures of the planet, and proudly resist modernization. Get to know a bit more about their nomadic lifestyle and experience a traditional greeting.

After visiting the Maasai village, you will visit The Ngorongoro crater which is home to Africa’s ‘big five’: lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffaloes. This must-see volcanic formation is full of life and as we go down, we’ll slowly enter lush forests and sweeping plains bursting with sounds. Over 25000 large animals call Ngorongoro home and the sighting of the most amazing African wildlife is guaranteed. Get ready to meet leopards, zebras, hyenas, wildebeests and gazelles face to face!

Stone Town, Prison Island & Spice Tour

Today we’ll unearth the real Zanzibar and get closer than you’ve ever imagined to its native wildlife. Depending on your likes, you can choose between 3 different day trips.

For those looking for a tropical break, Prison Island is the way to go. This calm private island has plenty of activities to choose from, including snorkeling in clear blue waters, feeding giant tortoises and sunbathing in the warm sand. For those looking for a bit of history, this is also a historical site linked to the slave trade.

Finally, you’ll also be able to discover Stone Town from the inside. This ancient Swahili town is bursting with beautiful buildings and a rich multicultural history. Built by traders in the 19th century, Stone Town was one of the centers of slave trade throughout the century. Walk through the narrow streets, breath in the heavy history of its walls and enjoy the lively rhythm of this city with strong Arab influences.

Experience the real taste of Africa in today’s spice tour. Zanzibar is also known as the spice island, and here we’ll find the world’s top producers of spicy clove, earthy nutmeg and hot cinnamon. Get to know first-hand how spices and herbs are grown, while you touch, smell and taste everything these rich lands have to offer. On top of spices, Zanzibar is also famous for its delicious coffee, that you’ll have the chance to test!

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, beverages not included.

Day 7 – Zanzibar

Jozani Forest Tour & Paje Beach

Jozani Chwaka National Park, also known as the monkey forest. Bursting with life, here you’ll meet dozens of Tanzanian red colobus monkeys and get to know how the park helped save them from extinction. Suni antelopes, bush pigs, chameleons and many birds also call the forest their home, and we’ll get really close to many local wildlife. As we walk through the leaf-covered paths and breathe in the clean air, we’ll go through delicate mangrove forests, a precarious ecosystem where trees grow right into water!

Maximum  Impact Tours

Maximum Impact Tours has been created to encourage international and domestic travel experiences. Maximum Impact Tours was founded by entrepreneur, playwright, author, and philanthropist, Jay Cameron. Realizing that most of his life had been consumed working domestically, a trip to Africa changed his perspective. His experience transformed the way he saw traveling. As a result, he set out to encourage others to see the world through their own eyes and not only through the eyes of television and social media. You are invited to join Jay and his team on their adventures around the globe.

Reference

This was the best trip I have ever taken. The tour provided a great educational and inspirational experience. There was something to captivate the interest of the young and old. Jay and his crew were very professional and made every effort to accommodate individual and group needs. I will never forget this tour and I will always remember the individuals with whom I shared this great journey.
