SECTION 4 – WOO COMMERCE and KLAVIYO

Our store is based on the software Woo Commerce, running on the software from wordpress.org hosted on our server which is run by bigscoots.com. They provide us with the store software running on a content management platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through in our internal secure databases. Order details are also passed onto our Email marketing platform which runs on Klaviyp. They store your data in their database behind a secure system.

Payment:

We use third-party payment transaction services through PayPal (privacy https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full) and Stripe (privacy policy https://stripe.com/us/privacy).

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

How long we retain your data:

Your data is retained for one year. You can see the data by requesting here https://sankofaexperiences.com/request-user-data/., once requested you can also request deletion which we will comply with within 1 calendar month.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
